Music in the studio has always been a problem for a computer geek. Today I hooked up a device which will have some pleasant side effects. Apple Airport Express is a small little device that can act as a wireless access point, print server, and streaming music server. The need to get a reliable print server for the printer that hangs out near the studio can now also unlock the huge music inventory and allow it to be played on the stereo in the studio. I will let you know how it goes.

do let me know. i'm currently looking for speakers for my iPod, so i can play it in my bedroom. everything is too cheap, ugly or expensive. any thoughts?
I don't know if this would work as speakers for the ipod. The current recommended speakers for those beasts from (http://ipodlounge.com) is the Creature speakers from JBL which are quite inexpensive and quite good quality.
I think if you wanted to go wireless to a stereo you would need two expresses, or a wireless card in your mac. Unless you had a net connection in your bedroom.
Cheers
i think i'll pick those up tonight. thanks.
